Conditionals are an easy way to simplify an application for your applicants. By using conditionals, you can control which sections and/or form fields display for the applicant to complete.
The following fields can included in a condition:
- Number
- Drop down menu
- Checkbox
Long text, short text, and date fields can not be used when creating conditions.
To add a condition to a form field:
- Click on the field to edit it (or click Add a New Field to create a new one)
- On the right, click on Add Condition.
- Use the drop down menu to select the field that you'd like to use for the condition.
- Note: only Number, Drop Down, and Check box fields are available.
- Once you've created the condition, click Save.
- Click Done to save your changes to the field.
Multi-Entry sections & conditions: Multi-entry sections and fields cannot be used for conditions. They can be conditional though (ie: appear only if a certain checkbox is checked). However, the only conditions that can be added must come from a single entry field.
