Helping your Applicants

Part of your preparations for going live should include putting together materials and preparing your staff to assist applicants, if they have any questions.  

To get ahead of applicant questions, we recommend the following:

  • Create an Applicant FAQ page to have available on your website and at computer kiosks at city departments (if you're providing that service).
  • Train your staff, even those who may not be directly involved with the website or any of the reviews/approvals.  
  • Assemble talking points: why is the city using this new service? how does it work? etc?
