Before going live with a specific Record Type or with your entire permitting site, we recommend that you test the application process and workflows to make sure everything matches your expectations.
We recommend that each user in the system perform the following tasks:
- Create a test record for each workflow
- Sign off on a record
- Accept payment for a record
- Issue & print a permit or license
- Add a new step to an active Record
- Practice creating and saving reports
Additional (optional) tasks:
- Perform an inspection
- Use ViewPoint Cloud from a tablet
Please note: Tasks will vary depending on your community's use of the system and an individual user's permissions in the system. Help your users determine what activities they are expected to perform in the system & ensure that they understand how to complete those functions.
