Payment Steps can be reactivated when a payment is due again for that step. This can happen when:
- The payment in that step is Voided. For more information, please see Voiding Payments.
- The payment was refunded, either in full or partially. For more information, please see How to issue a Refund.
- A form field that a Fee calculation is conditional to is changed. For example: if a Fee is based on the Estimated Construction Cost and that construction cost ends up increasing after the fee is paid. Once that form field is updated, the Fee will automatically recalculate and the Payment step will reactivate because the amount due has changed. When this happens, the applicant will automatically be notified and prompted to pay the amount due.
